Jurassic Park: Night Tours Attraction

Planet C Studios developed, produced, wrote, and shot original media for the Jurassic Park segment of the Universal Studios Hollywood Night Tour. Projected inside the original two-compartment RV used in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, this media features several Jurassic Park employees who find themselves surrounded by deadly dinosaurs. These same dinosaurs quickly turn their attention to the trams as they try to lunge out at guests and even blind them with toxic venom.

Shot in Hollywood, four actors portrayed Jurassic Park employees and were filmed behind two large plates of glass that were specially constructed to match the dimensions of the two-compartment RV where the final media was installed and projected. Upon adding practical effects, such as smoke, dangling wires, and alarm lights, as well as digital dinosaurs in post-editorial, this shoot truly brought the chaos of Jurassic Park to life for park guests.
